No Bones About It!

Photo via Star News

Skeletal remains were found last Thursday, February 4th, on the Bald Head Island Club golf course that could date back to the 1800s. While our golf course construction company was excavating the greens quality course sand, a partial jaw bone was found, and through further investigation, an upper rib cage as well as an arm bone! The following day, a second skeleton was found and a third skeleton ws uncovered today. Deputy State Archeologist is on site today, investigating the remains to help determine more on the findings.

Read more about the bones and possibilities in the Star News.
